Gently take your wrench and pliers to loosen the nuts and bolts. This step requires great caution! You don't want to injure the toilet and damage the bolts. You may need to put a little oil on the bolts if you see rust and find them difficult to complete. This will facilitate the process of removing the old seat.
Following which, you need to insert the bolts through the holes from the toilet and new chair. Ensure that everything is aligned properly. Afterwards, you use your wrench and pliers to secure the nuts onto the bolts. You want the nuts to be tight enough that the seat doesn't move.
